“Height Marking in Wood” is a smart home interface that brings together unique user experiences of mui’s calm technology and Wacom’s digital ink technology to improve their quality of life. The column-shaped interface, which is connected to a cloud server, can save all the doodles your children have drawn on it, or the marks you etched when measuring your kids’ heights, and can display them, on cue, at any time, enabling you to cherish your family memory and history. We designed the interface as the “supporting column” of family life by taking inspiration from the “daikoku bashira,” or the master column of traditional Japanese architecture. “Height Marking in Wood” is a standard feature of “muihaus.,” a residential series that was co-developed with and made available for purchase through JIBUN HAUS.
