mui Board Software Update — Rolling Out September 2, 2026
Thanks for supporting the mui Board.
Today, Wednesday, September 2, 2026, we're rolling out a software update for the mui Board. Alongside improvements to overall responsiveness, and based on how you've been using the mui Board, we're streamlining a few features to make everyday use easier to understand.
The update installs automatically as long as your mui Board is connected to Wi-Fi. No action is needed on your end.

What changed
────────────────────
Streamlining features
Retiring "Night " mode
- We're retiring "Night Signal" mode, which hides the clock display and message/event notifications when switched on. This left some people wondering why nothing was showing up. We've removed this mode to keep the mui Board's behavior more predictable and reliable.
Retiring the "Doll House" feature
- We're retiring the "Doll House" feature, which showed which compatible devices hadn't yet been linked to your mui Board. It wasn't something most people used day to day, so we've simplified it out as part of this update.
Faster response times and other fixes
- We've improved the response speed for lighting controls, along with a number of other bug fixes.
